1965Graphics Communications Limited (GCL)
Graphics Communications Limited (GCL) specialized in communication and navigational aid equipment and completed several large projects with the BIWTA (Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority), the DGDP (Directorate General Defense Purchase), the Bangladesh ARMY, the Bangladesh Air Force, the Bangladesh Navy, and the Shipping Corporation.
1977SUNTEX LTD
Visionary Mr. Z. H. Khan was. Having a vast vision for the RMG industry, Mr. Khan founded SUNTEX LTD, a massive textile factory where he participated in the expanding RMG industry and produced long-term jobs in Bangladesh.
1985New Generation Graphics Limited (NGGL)
Mr. Khan M. Ahsan (son of founder Chairman Mr. Z. H. Khan) returned to the country following his graduation in Electrical Engineering from Australia with the intention of contributing to the growth of the country's economy. 1993Secura Bangladesh Limited (SBL)
Secura Bangladesh Limited (SBL) is a joint venture between Secura Singapore Pte. Ltd. and Secura Bangladesh Limited. It began in 2000 as Bangladesh's first security printing house in the private sector. SBL currently serves over 50% of Bangladesh's commercial banks by supplying MICR Cheques, PIN Mailers, other secured financial instruments and documents, and Educational Certificates to over 60 private and public universities.
SBL is a well-known name for trust and dependability, and it recently completed a project supplying Digital Cards and Secured Certificates to Bangladeshi freedom fighters under Ministry of Liberation War Affairs (MoLWA).
2000Alap Communications Limited
New Generation Graphics Limited decided to sell its company Alap Communications Limited to OLLO (A Russian Company), and all of the frequency used by Alap was assigned to New Generation Graphics Limited by the Bangladesh Telecom Regulatory Commission.
The New Generation was split into two sections by court order in 2006; one portion became Next Generation Graphics Ltd (NGGL) with all of its prior liabilities, assets, and expertise transferred to this firm; the other part merely retained the frequency, while the shares were transferred to OLLO.
2006Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited (BPCL)
As the first and only post-consumer PET bottle recycling facility in the country, Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited (BPCL) is a pioneer in Bangladesh when it comes to the idea of producing value out of waste. Its activities are the best example of the "recover and recycle" business model, which repurposes post-consumer PET bottles that were once thought of as waste. Beginning operations in July 2012, BPCL built a facility with the capacity to produce 10,500 MT of recycled PET resin annually utilizing old PET bottles as the primary raw material.
